Does your dog bark, lunge, growl or get anxious in the presence of other dogs either on leash or off? Do you and your dog often feel nervous when confronted with another dog? If so, this class will help you and your dog learn to become more relaxed in these settings.
The focus of the class is not to “cure” the dog rather to help you and your dog better handle situations where you may feel uncomfortable. We will teach you proper handling skills and what to do in emergency situations. In addition, we will teach traditional behaviors such as sit, stay, come/here, leave it and wait.
Please Note: This class is not intended for human-aggressive dogs. If your dog has severely injured another dog, please contact us to discuss training options. Due to the nature of this class special equipment will be needed to ensure the safety of all dogs and the instructor(s). Please contact the Instructor for more information and further instructions: jessica@thecapablecanine.com
