Beginner Dog Obedience

This 6-week beginner obedience class is for dogs of any age (please look at the Puppy Kindergarten description for puppies under 16 weeks!). Come learn how using positive reinforcement techniques can make training your dog fun for both human and dog alike!

In this class, we will introduce the basics such as eye contact, sit, down, stay, ’settle’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’, come when called, loose leash walking and more as time allows! The goals of the class are to teach the dog to look to their handler for guidance, calm themselves, and develop self control, while teaching the handler basic dog training formulas, management techniques, and problem solving strategies. Learn how to incorporate exercises into daily life to create a happy and cooperative friendship between you and your dog.

Length of class: 6 Weeks
Cost: $125.00
The first class is a Mandatory Human-Only orientation

Cancellation policy for all Happy Tails Obedience programs:
We depend on meeting our enrollment numbers to start each class, so your withdrawal may affect class schedules.
•If you withdraw prior to the start date and outside of the 36 hours prior to the scheduled start time, there is a $25 fee.
•If you withdraw from class within 36 hours of the scheduled start time, there is a $50 fee.
•There are no refunds after class begins.
Occasionally, we may need to postpone a class based on low enrollment, but it is unfair to do so on such short notice
