Bare Bones for Bullies

As part of Happy Tails’ Obedience Program for Pit Bulls and Bully Breeds, ‘Bare Bones for Bullies’ is an introductory course to help you and your bully get off on the right track!

If an 8-week class doesn’t seem to fit into your schedule, this 6-week version of our ‘Bully Manners’ class may be just what you need! ‘Bare Bones for Bullies’ introduces the basics (focus, sit, down, stay, settle, leave-it, drop-it, come when called & more) while paying special attention to breed-specific training needs & typical bully behavior.

Just like in our ‘Bully Manners’ class, our goal is to help you to improve your dog’s self-control, on-leash manners and attentiveness while you learn to become the Leader & Handler your dog needs you to be. We’ll introduce valuable problem solving strategies and management techniques that will help to keep you and your bully on the path to success.

*Bully breeds (dogs commonly referred to as ‘Pit bulls’) include, but are not limited to, the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, any variety of Bulldog, mixes of these breeds & more.

Cancellation policy for all Happy Tails Obedience programs:
We depend on meeting our enrollment numbers to start each class, so your withdrawal may affect class schedules.
•If you withdraw prior to the start date and outside of the 36 hours prior to the scheduled start time, there is a $25 fee.
•If you withdraw from class within 36 hours of the scheduled start time, there is a $50 fee.
•There are no refunds after class begins.
Occasionally, we may need to postpone a class based on low enrollment, but it is unfair to do so on such short notice
